గుడిసేవ విష్ణుప్రసా ద్‌ గారు బాలల కోసం కథలు, గేయాలు, వ్యాసాలు, ఆకాశవా ణి ప్రసంగాలు, శతకాలు రచించారు. వీరి కథలు బాలజ్యోతి, వార్త, ఈనాడు, ఆంధ్రజ్యోతి, ఆంధ్ర పత్రిక జాగృతి వంటి అనేక పత్రికల్లో చోటు చేసుకున్నాయి. బాలల కోసం అనేక పుస్తకాలు ప్రచురించారు. బాల దీపిక (బాలగేయాలు), భరతబాల (బాలల శతకం), అంత్యాక్షరి (బాలలకు పద్యాల సంకలనం) వీరికి బాలసాహిత్యంలో గుర్తింపు తీసుకొచ్చాయి. 15కు పైగా ఆకాశవాణి బాలానందం - బాలల కార్యక్రమాలు నిర్వహించారు. అంతేకాకుండా బాలసాహిత్యం స్థితిగతులు, బాలసాహిత్యం భవిష్యత్తు ఏమిటి, బాలల నెహ్రూ వంటి ప్రసంగాలు రచించి ప్రసారం చేశారు.

బాలల కోసం రాసిన భరత బాల శతకం వీరికి రాష్టస్థ్రాయిలో గుర్తింపు తీసుకొచ్చింది. సర్వశిక్షా అభియాన్‌ వారు ఇందులోని పద్యాల ను వివిధ మాడ్యూల్స్‌లో పాఠ్యేతర ప్రణాళిక లో ప్రచురించారు. ఈ పద్యాలు, ఆకాశవాణి, దూరదర్శన్‌లలో ప్రసారమయ్యాయి. గుడిసేవ విష్ణుప్రసాద్‌ బాలసాహిత్యం గ్రంథాల పరిశీలకునిగా సేవలందించారు. రాజీవ్‌ విద్యామిషన్‌ నిర్వహించిన బాల సాహిత్య రచనా కార్యక్రమంలో ఎస్‌.ఆర్‌.జి గా కొన్ని వందల పుస్తకాలను పరిశీలించటం, రచించటం, అనువాదాలు చేయడం జరిగింది. గిరిజన భాషలైన కొండ, కువి, ఆదివాసీ మున్నగు భాషల బాలసాహిత్య రచనలు కూ డా ఎస్‌.ఆర్‌.జిగా విశాఖపట్టణం (భీమిలి) వెళ్లి శిక్షణ ఇచ్చారు.

A research scholar  has endorsed the claims of a group of people OF TELUGU REGION who say they are of Jewish ancestry. The scholar,had visited the community in the tiny village , 
 an expert in Jewish studies, some years ago.
The two took DNA samples from the community also studied their social practices and took note of the fact that they observed the Sabbath regularly. the leader of the community, said he had recently received a communication from endorsing the sect's claim that they belong to the Ephraim tribe. There are about 150 families in the community.

కాచిగూడ, ఆగస్టు 4: తెలుగు భాష, తెలుగు సంస్కృతి, తెలుగు సాంప్రదాయాలను పరిరక్షించడం అందరి బాధ్యతగా తీసుకోవాలని, పాచ్చాత్య నాగరికత మోజులో మన సాంప్రదాయాలను మరిచిపోవద్దని రాష్ట్ర ముఖ్యమంత్రి కె.కిరణ్ కుమార్ రెడ్డి కోరారు. గురువారం సాయంత్రం పొట్టి శ్రీరాములు తెలుగు విశ్వవిద్యాలయం ఆధ్వర్యంలో మండలి వెంకట కృష్ణారావు సంస్కృతి పురస్కారాన్ని మారిషస్ ఆంధ్ర మహాసభకు అందించే కార్యక్రమాన్ని పబ్లిక్ గార్డెన్‌లోని జూబ్లీహాల్‌లో ఘనంగా నిర్వహించారు. ఈ కార్యక్రమానికి ముఖ్యఅతిధిగా ముఖ్యమంత్రి కిరణ్ కుమార్‌రెడ్డి విచ్చేయగా తెలుగు విశ్వవిద్యాలయం ఉపాధ్యాక్షులు హనుమాండ్ల భూమయ్య అధ్యక్షత వహించారు.
ఈ సందర్భంగా మారిషస్ ఆంధ్ర మహాసభ అధ్యక్షులైన కోడి రమణకు మండలి వెంకట కృష్ణారావు సంస్కృతీ పురస్కారంగా 25 వేల నగదు, జ్ఞాపిక, ప్రశంసాపత్రాన్ని అందించి సత్కరించారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా ముఖ్యమంత్రి మాట్లాడుతూ విదేశాలల్లో రాష్ట్రాయేతర ప్రాంతాల్లోవున్న తెలుగువారి మధ్య సత్సంబంధాలను కొనసాగించాలని కోరారు. మారుతున్న కాలానికి అనుగుణంగా తెలుగుభాషను మరింత పరిరక్షించుకోవాల్సిన బాధ్యత మనందరిపై ఉందని అన్నారు. ఆంగ్లభాషలో విద్యాభ్యాసంతో ఉద్యోగ అవకాశాలు మెండుగావున్నా మన భాషను మాత్రం మర్చిపోవద్దని సూచించారు. ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో గౌరవ అతిధిగా శాసనమండలి అధ్యక్షులు డా. ఎ.చక్రపాణి ప్రసంగిస్తూ ఇతర రాష్ట్రాల్లో తెలుగువారు భాషా సంస్కృతుల పరిరక్షణ కోసం ఎంతో తపనపడుతున్నారని వారికి అండగానిలిచి వారి సమస్యలు పరిష్కరించేందుకు ముందుకు రావల్సిన బాధ్యత మనపై ఉందని అన్నారు.
ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో మాజీ మంత్రి మండలి బుద్దప్రసాద్, తెలుగు విశ్వవిద్యాలయం రిజిష్ట్రార్ భట్టు రమేష్, అంతర్జాతీయ తెలుగు కేంద్రం ఇన్‌చార్జీ డైరెక్టర్ ఆచార్య మునిరత్నం నాయుడు, డా. చెన్నయ్య తదితరులు పాల్గొన్నారు.

ఒంగోలు పట్టణం - చారిత్రక విశేషాలు

పూర్వం ఒంగోలు పట్టణం ''ఊంగిప్రోలు'' మరియు ''ఓగిప్రోలు'' అనే పేర్లతో గుండికాతరంగిణి (గుండ్లకమ్మ) నుండి శ్రీపర్వతం వరకు విస్తరించి ఉన్న వేంగీ దేశానికి రాజధానిగా వుండేది. శాతవాహన చక్రవర్తి యజ్ఞశ్రీ శాతకర్ణి రాజ్యం ఒంగోలు వరకు విస్తరించి వుండేది. తరువాత కాలంలో తళ్ళికోట యుద్ధ కారణంగా ఒంగోలు నల్గొండ నవాబుల పాలనలోకి వచ్చింది. 17వ శతాబ్దిలో ఒంగోలులో మందపాటివారి వంశస్థులు తమ రాజ్యాన్ని స్థాపించారని, ఆ వంశీకుడైన రఘపతిరాజు ఇప్పుడు ఉన్న చెన్నకేశవస్వామి దేవాలయాన్ని, ఒంగోలు కోటను నిర్మించారని చరిత్ర చెబుతోంది. పల్లవ రాజులైన విజయస్కందవర్మ, సింహవర్మల కాలంనాటి శాసనాలలో ఒంగోలు ప్రస్తావన ఉంది. ఈ రాజులు క్రీ||శ|| 3,4 శతాబ్దాలలో పరిపాలన సాగించినట్లు చరిత్ర చెబుతోంది. కీ||శ|| 4వ శతాబ్దినాటి శాసనంలో ''ఒంగోడు'' అనే పేరుంది.13వ శతాబ్దినుండి ''ఒంగోలు''గా వ్యవహరించబడుతుంది. 18వ శతాబ్ది తరువాత ''వంగోలు'' అనికూడ కొన్ని పత్రాల ద్వారా తెలుస్తుంది. 1792లో ఒంగోలు నెల్లూరు మండలంలో భాగమైంది. 1795లో ఒంగోలు ప్రాంతాన్ని పల్నాడు జిల్లాలో కలిపారు. 1801లో నెల్లూరు జిల్లాలో చేర్చారు. అప్పుడు అజ్‌ముద్దౌల సంధి జరిగింది. 1904లో జిల్లాల పునర్విభజన సందర్భంగా గుంటూరు జిల్లాలో చేర్చబడింది. ఈ పట్టణం బంగాళాఖాతానికి 16 కి.మీ. దూరంలో ఉంది. 1876 సం||లో ఒంగోలు మున్సిపాలిటీగా అవతరించింది. 1939 సం|| వరకు జిల్లా బోర్డు ఒంగోలు కేంద్రంగా ఉండేది. ఒంగోలులోని రంగరాయుడు చెరువును విస్మరించలేము. ఒంగోలు పట్టణం ప్రస్తుతం కార్పొరేషన్‌గా రూపాంతరం చెందుతుంది.

The director has come up with a thought provoking storyline and while the presentation was impacting, the narrative was appealing. The dialogues were sharp and charged up, the script was well written and the screenplay was impressive. Background score was good but songs could have been better. Cinematography is top notch. Editing was crisp. Costumes were realistic while the art department was natural and catchy. Ramky has given an okay performance, he doesn't fit the bill so well. Tanmayi was not pretty but she has acted well. Ravu Ramesh was excellent. Subbaraju was apt. Gundu Sudarshan gave few smiles. Kallu Chidambaram was nice. L B Sriram was an eye opener. The others did their bit as required.

ME ITN LONDON VEKATNARAYANA DISCUSSING ABOUT LIFE OF FISHERMAN Story: A realistic story, the tale begins with the lives of the fishing community. Here lives Bosu (ramky) and his friends Borugu and Satti. A local girl Nookalu (tanmayi) is crazily in love with Bosu but he never cares for her. His concern is more on not finding enough fish and the lack of livelihood. Meanwhile, there is the big industrialist Ajay Dheeraj (subbaraju) who is moving his influence to come up with a big fisheries company which will actually threaten the existence of the fishermen. Then there is Swapna (gayatri) a journalist cum news reader keen on doing some real journalism. She comes across the hiccups in Ajay's approach and the harm it is causing to the lives of people like Bosu. What happens from there forms the rest of the story.

Some of the scholars referred Telugu was 3k old not 1500-1800 years old.
